Tonight we hosted the Honorable Todd Rokita, US Congressman
to the 4th District.
Todd is a freshman Congressman and has upheld his oath to the
constitution and the people, without fail, since he took office. He is
very strong on the second amendment and States' rights. We are very
proud of our Congressman as he is doing exactly the job we sent him
there to do.
Todd is a member of the following committees:
Committee on House Administration
The Committee on House Administration is charged with the oversight
of federal elections and the day-to-day operations of the House of
Representatives.
House Committee on Budget
The Budget Committee is charged with responsibilities under the
following categories: the budget resolution, reconciliation, budget
process reform, and oversight of the Congressional Budget Office.
House Committee on Education and the Workforce
The Education and the Workforce Committee oversees programs that
affect hundreds of millions of Americans, from school teachers and
small business owners to students and retirees.
The Congressman walked us through a presentation on the nation's 15
Trillion dollar debt. He then fielded a variety of questions from our
group which can be viewed in the video.
We'd like to thank Congressman Rokita for taking the time to visit
with us and answer our personal questions. We urge him to keep up
the good work.
We will be sending him reinforcements in 2012.

White County Tea Party Patriots meets on the third Monday of each
month. Special meetings are held in order to accommodate the
candidate schedules.
