| White County Tea Party Patriots |
The Indiana FreedomMaker Coalition and Thomas
Weddle of Restore Government Ministry were
warmly greeted by the White County Tea Party
Patriots. Joining us were the St. Joe Tea Party
Patriots and from Lafayette, the Lafayette Tea Party
groups.
We began with the Pledge of Allegiance and then
introduced Mike Sandefur. Mike began the evening
by explaining the purpose of the FreedomMaker
Coalition. At their own expense, this group travels
the entire State of Indiana spreading little known, but
vital, information. Educating people on their rights
and the responsibilities of the State.
Thomas Weddle, then spoke on Interposition.
Interposition is the action of a state whereby its
sovereignty is placed between its citizens and the
federal government. It is the duty of our State
Legislature to interpose between us and the tyranny
of the Federal Governments Healthcare Bill. Tom
was very well informed. He asked for a call to action
by the citizens of Indiana to gather at the State
Capitol October 2nd to demand our State Legislature
do what is required by law.
Next we heard from Michael Lewinski who spoke on
Elections. It is the obligation of every citizen of the
United States to elect their Representatives. Most
vote in the general elections but few realize the
primaries and local elections are where we must
begin. The local level must be paid vivid attention in
order for our freedom to be preserved.
Following was DK Smith who discussed the
responsibility of action by the people. Volunteering is
most important if we wish to take our country back.
It is time for ‘we the people’ to rise up and be heard.
We’re not going to accomplish anything sitting
around complaining. We need to get involved within
our own communities. Start a group, join a group,
gather local residents and stand united.
DK closed the assembly by singing Amazing Grace.
We joined in for the first verse; she then included an
original stirring second verse of her own.
It was quite moving to say the least.
FreedomMaker Coalition is an inspiring group of
educated people. Their message is simply stand
united and ‘Say NO’. We must get up and get out.
We must begin at the local level. We must never give
up, never give in.
