To understand ANY United Nations initiative, one must first understand the
United Nations.
Start with the name: United Nations. 192 countries whose stated goal is
facilitating cooperation in laws, security, economy development, social
progress, and human rights. In other words, a world social and economic
standard or order.
In 1992, and fueled by the threat of global warming, there was an Earth
Summit in Rio de Janerio, to establish an ambitious environmental agenda for
the 21st century. Thus- Agenda 21. The conference addressed: energy,
industry, water, land use, human health, transportation and more. The main
theme was “sustainability”. The original proposal gave each country a list of
recommended actions.
Again in 2002, the World Summit on Sustainable Development met in
Johannesburg, So. Africa. From that meeting the United States agreed to
develop a 10 yr. framework on Sustainable Production and Consumption.
From this, “Sustainability specialists or directors have appeared in most
government agencies. Most participating communities are doing so through
ICLEI-International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives.
So, the most common buzz words or phrases: Agenda 21, ICLEI, Sustainable
Development.
Specifics:
a. Sustainable development- all decisions to be based on global land use, global
education, global population reduction and control
b. Social equality- redistribution of wealth, private property ownership is
unjust, national sovereignty is unjust
c. Economic prosperity- encourages select public/private partnerships, select
tax breaks, selected awarding of grants, using eminent domain to implement
the policies (taking of private property)
Should Agenda 21 come to full fruition, the United Nations would be the
supreme rulers of the world. Our 3 branches a government would be replaced
by UN leaders. This is the same UN who appointed: Kim Jong il to the
“Conference on Disarmament”, who named Fidel Castro “World Hero of
Solidarity” and who meets annually with the World Bank and International
Monetary Fund .
Examples:
1. All anti union actions such as the NLRB ruling re: Boeing are “pro” Agenda
21 - redistribute wealth by controlling where business can go and who can work
for them
2. Failure to control our borders is “pro” Agenda 21- taking of American jobs
and services and giving to illegals-redistribution of wealth
3. The failed attempt to make home ownership available to all is “pro” Agenda
21- social equality
4. The use of Eminent Domain in any area except to acquire land for roads, or
other infrastructure (such as Charlotte County’s Murdock land grab) are
“pro” Agenda 21-injustice of private land ownership
5. The North American Free Trade Agreement- is “pro” agenda 21-injustice of
National Sovereignty
6. Continuing our dependence on foreign oil and banning drilling here is “pro”
Agenda 21- redistribution of wealth
7. Simple things like- making Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs mandatory are
“pro” Agenda 21- because we have no manufacturers-we buy them but some
other country makes the profit-redistribution of wealth
8. Bailouts are “pro” Agenda 21- controlling the survival of a select few rather
than rewarding well run companies, thus encouraging public/private
partnerships
9. The Global Warming propaganda-”pro” Agenda 21- controlling global
education and land use AND redistribution of wealth as the worst polluters
don’t have the rules that we do
10. President Obama’s move to acquire more Federal Land- “Pro” agenda 21-
private property ownership is unjust
11. The new “Rural” regulations- “pro” Agenda 21- control of or taking of
farmland
12. Giving grants to “Green” Communities- “pro” Agenda 21- global land use,
selected awarding of grants.

binding treaty, it did not require the ratification
of the U.S. Senate or approval from Congress.
Instead it has been implemented through
Presidential Executive Orders.

Council on Sustainable Development.
